Move through Menopause

12-week course

Supporting you through menopause

We understand that going through the menopause can be an extremely isolating time with over 90% of women struggling with menopausal symptoms in the UK. This common, but disregarded health condition has resulted in an increase in mental health issues, a demotivation to socialise and a decrease in physical capability.

Consequently, our 12 week Move through Menopause course has been created to empower women by helping them learn about the condition, meeting other women who are going through the same thing, and ultimately closing the stigma around menopause.

Sessions are run by our professional in-house team and are split into two sections. The first section is information based with the opportunity to open up topics for group discussion and the second section is movement based that will guide you through the activities on offer at Wyre Forest Leisure Centre.

Topics within this course include, but are not limited to:

  • Symptom management
  • Hormones and HRT
  • Myth busting
  • Menopause & Mental Health
  • Menopause & Nutrition

As a result of partaking in our course, you will receive twelve 90 minute sessions and a complementary 12 week Premium membership that includes use of the gym, pool, and group exercise classes!

Launching May 2024

Our upcoming course begins 9th May with sessions running on Thursdays at 2.30pm – 4.00pm
