Where do I need to go when I arrive for my climbing experience?
If you have purhcased your climb online, when you arrive at the centre please go to the High Places Meeting point to the left hand side of the reception. One of our climb crew will collect you from there and take you to our High Places briefing room. If you are purchasing at the site you will need to go to our reception first.

How old do I need to be to experience High Places?
If you are aged 4 and above you can experience High Places.
I have children of different ages, can they climb together?
Yes. One of the best things about High Places is that it is one of the few activities where groups or families of mixed ages can climb together at the same time.
My child is nearly 4, can they climb?
Our minimum age for climbing is strictly 4 years of age – even if they have been climbing your furniture for years. It is the parent/guardians responsibility to ensure their children are of age to use the equipment and if we become aware a child is under age the session will be immediately ceased and there will be no refund issues.
Can my children climb alone or do I need to join them?
Children aged 4 – 7 yrs must have an adult present in the arena (climbing or non climbing). Ratio: 1 adult for up to 2 children. Children over 8 years and above can climb without supervision.
Do I need to book in advance?
You can book up to 3 weeks in advance. We advise customers to book in advance to avoid disappointment, especially for weekends and holidays which can get busy. Sometimes it is possible to book last minute and we can take bookings at the centre on the day when we have spaces available.

Are there any Max/Min weight limits?
The maximum weight is 20 stone.
What should I wear to High Places?
You should wear loose fitting, flexible clothing that will comfortable for climbing and footwear such as trainers. We do not permit:- Climbing shoes, heels or open toe shows. Long hair must be tied back, loose jewellery removed and glasses secured.
Where can I leave my belongings at site?
Climbers can store their personal items in our lockers near the main sports halls (Please bring £1 for lockers). Valuable lockers will also be made available.
Can I go on High Places if I have a disability?
We want as many people as possible to experience the fun of High Places regardless of ability. We have additional equipment to allow disabled users access but we understand that some disabled users may have more complex needs and as such welcome you to contact us first so we can do our best to ensure you get the most out of your experience. What refreshments do you have on site?
We have a fantastic Costa on site offering hot and cold drinks. A food menu will be available throughout the day. Alternatively we have vending machines available around the building.
Can I book an exclusive session or birthday party?
Absolutely. High places is the perfect activity for birthdays or groups. Our birthday package is for a party of up to 16 people and we also have a party room available for additional hire. (subject to availability). Call us on 01444 876000 to discuss your requirements or enquire here.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation for open climb sessions allows customers to cancel (or change) their booking up to 24 hours before the session start time. If you need to cancel or rebook your session please contact us on 01444 876000. High Places will either refund your original payment or issue a climb voucher to the same value.
Anyone arriving late or not attending a briefing will not be able to climb.
For groups, parties and schools, our cancellation policy allows customers to cancel or amend their booking up to 7 days before the session start time.
