Frequently asked questions

I have booked my party and need to add additional children?

All parties are allocated a set number of participants and unfortunately extra heads cannot be added.

What do we do on the day of the party?

It is best to arrive 10–15 minutes before the start of your party to ensure that you can meet any guests who arrive. Our party meeting point is in the reception foyer which a member of the team can guide you to. Your party host will be there to greet you. Unfortunately, we cannot provide drinks/refreshments, so please bring these with you.

I need to cancel my party – what do I do?

Unfortunately, all bookings are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Do we need to stay for the party?

We ask that the birthday party parent/s remain on site throughout the party and enjoy the celebrations with us. You will also be responsible for the children whilst they are at the centre.

Please be aware that additional parental supervision is required for swimming parties. Children under 8 must be supervised in the water and changing rooms by their parent or adult (18+). A maximum of 2 children is permitted per parent/adult. This is the recommendation of the Health & Safety Executive. The Pool Inflatable ratio is 1:1 for under 8s. We would ask that parents help with toilet trips during the party.

Who runs the activity?

All parties apart from our Active Splash Inflatable include a party host who will run the activities for you.

Can I bring confetti or party poppers?

Unfortunately, the use of party poppers or confetti cannons cannot be used at the centre.

What time do I get access to the party room?

This is 15 minutes before the time of the party room booking.

What do the children need to wear?

Please ensure that all children attending are not wearing jewellery. For soft play parties, please make sure children are wearing socks. For Clip 'n Climb parties, please ensure long hair is tied up, no hooded tops are worn and also no dresses or skirts are worn.

Can we swim alongside the pool inflatable?

Unfortunately, due to its size, you will be unable to swim alongside the inflatable. Please follow the rules set in the briefing given by the lifeguard team.

How long is my party for?

All parties are for 1 hour, with the exception of climbing which is 1 hour 15 minutes.

Do we get exclusive use of the party room?

Party rooms are subject to availability and incur an extra cost of £30 for 45 minutes. We kindly ask that all rubbish is cleared using the bin bags provided and we will dispose of it for you.

Do you provide a birthday cake?

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a birthday cake – but that does not stop you from bringing one along.

Please note: we cannot store, handle or cut your cake – so remember to bring along a suitable knife and lighting device.

What happens at the end of the party?

We would also be grateful if you could complete a party feedback form to help us to improve our party service.
