How do I join as a new member?
You can join Places Leisure quickly and easily online, simply visit our membership page. If you are unable to join online then our team will be happy to assist you in selecting the membership that best suits your needs either over the phone, or by visiting your local centre.
Can I change my bank account details for my Direct Debit?
Yes. Please contact us via enquiries@placesleisure.org and we’ll assist with updating your payment details or alternatively speak to a member of the team at your local centre.
Can I change the collection date of my membership?
We currently have 4 collection dates throughout each month 1st, 8th, 15th & 24th. If you would like to amend your date please contact us via enquiries@placesleisure.org or alternatively speak to a member of the team at your local centre.
Can I freeze/pause my membership?
You can freeze your membership by providing at least 15 days notice before the next direct debit collection to allow sufficient time to process your request. Moving away?
You don’t need to cancel! You can transfer your membership to another Places Leisure centre in your new area.
Use our Find a Centre page to find your nearest centre, then contact us via enquiries@placesleisure.org and we will happily transfer your membership.

Can I manage or change my membership?
You can manage your account through the Places Leisure App or by logging into your online account.
How would I claim a 14 day money back guarantee? You have the right to cancel your membership for any reason by completing this form within 14 days of joining (within 14 days of purchase)
I’ve cancelled my direct debit with my bank – how do I now start up my membership again?
If you’ve cancelled your Direct Debit in error or would like to restart your membership, please contact your local centre. Our team will be happy to help reinstate your membership and set up your payments again.

How do I find the membership terms and conditions?
What is included in my membership?
The benefits included in your membership depend on the type of plan you choose. Most memberships include access to the gym, group workout classes, and swim sessions.
Do you offer joint memberships?
No – all of our memberships are for individual use. Each person will need their own account and membership to access our facilities.
If more than one person in your household would like to join, our team will be happy to help you find the best value options available
Do you offer family memberships?
We don’t offer family memberships as standard. However, some membership options allow children to be added for an additional fee. Find out more
What is included in the Junior membership?
Juniors can access Junior Gym sessions, Junior specific classes, and attend the gym at any point under the supervision of a responsible adult aged 18+. Juniors can attend certain adult classes, by paying the full class rate as these are not included in the Junior Membership.
They will also need to be supervised by an appropriate adult (Max of 2 juniors per adult).
I am a member - How do I refer a friend?
It’s easy to share the benefits of being a member! Simply visit our Refer a Friend page and follow the steps to invite your friends to join.
Once they become a member, you’ll both enjoy the rewards — it’s our way of saying thank you for spreading the word.
