Meet the instructors

Meet Tomi
Tomi is a talented young athlete with records at school, club, regional, and national levels in both netball and athletics.
She is a strong sprinter on the track and a smart composed player on the netball court known for her timing, elevation, and work ethic.
Her achievements reflect more than just ability — they’re the result of years of discipline, consistency, and commitment.
She stays grounded in what drives her: a genuine love for sport and a belief in creating space for girls to move with confidence.
Tomi leads by example and supports those around her, both on and off the court.
She’s focused on creating an environment where every girl feels empowered to grow.

Meet Evie
Since the age of four, I’ve grown up playing a male-dominated sport and have seen firsthand the barriers young girls face when trying to get active. I played for Portsmouth FC, which helped shape my resilience and love for the game, and I recently transferred to Fulham FC to continue challenging myself and growing as a player. Being part of the Big Sister Programme allows me to help break down the same barriers I once faced, highlight the benefits of an active lifestyle, and create a safe, supportive space where girls feel empowered to talk about what matters to them.

Meet Lauren
Hi, I’m Lauren, a 20-year-old sprint hurdler from Berkshire. I’ve been passionate about sport for as long as I can remember. Before athletics, I was a national-level gymnast from the age of 3 to 11, flipping, balancing, and learning to be fearless. When I moved on from gymnastics, I found athletics, and I’ve never looked back.
I started over trying all athletics disciplines, but I discovered my love for the hurdles early on, and since then, I’ve gone on to break club and county records, win national medals, and represent myself on the England Athletics Youth and Junior Talent Programmes. It hasn’t always been easy, like many athletes, I’ve faced injuries and setbacks. But every challenge has made me stronger, more determined, and more grateful for every race I get to run.
My journey has taught me that sport isn’t just about winning, it’s about confidence, friendship, and learning what your body and mind are capable of. It has taught me that whatever your background, you can achieve amazing things when you work hard and believe in yourself. Whether you’re just starting out or already dreaming of the finish line, keep going, keep growing, and most importantly, enjoy the journey.

Meet Rachel
Hi my names Rachel, I played rugby from the ages for 7 years. I absolutely loved everything about the sport and wish I had started it sooner!
Rugby has not only helped me build fitness, but it gave me a community and helped me build skills for life from working as a team!
