Exercise on referral

We have found ourselves in an unprecedented and extreme situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Whilst our leisure facilities are now open, we will be providing a reduced and controlled Exercise on Referral Service for the foreseeable future. We will only be accepting low/medium risk participants.  

We will resume services from Monday 12th March 2021 and will initially be operated from us, Wandle Recreation Centre (Leisure Centre Mapleton Road, London SW18 4DN) and Tooting Leisure Centre (Greaves Pl, Tooting, London SW17 0NE).

What is exercise on referral?

Exercise plays an essential role in preventing and managing a wide range of health conditions including: hypercholesterolemia hypertension (diabetes, high blood pressure), mental health, muscular skeletal pain, obesity, sedentary lifestyle. Our exercise specialist are here to help.

Our affordable exercise referral courses are designed to help participants develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to improve their health and wellbeing. This comprehensive 12-week programme features one-to-one assessments, individually tailored activity plans, and teaches how to change behaviors for lasting impact.
