NRASTC Easter courses

During the upcoming Easter holidays, we are running NRASTC and NRASTC Light courses for you to achieve your National Rescue award.
Both the NRASTC award and the NRASTC Light award is a supervision and rescue award for swimming teachers, coaches and/or instructors working during programmed activities, such as swimming lessons. However, the NRASTC Light award is a shorter course suitable for swim teachers who have first aid back up available in the event of an emergency.
Suitable for teachers working in a wide range of swimming pools, including pools where the water is deeper than the teacher’s standing depth.
Where no Lifeguard or First Aid backup is available, the standard NRASTC applies for those wanting to partake in the NRASTC Light course. As well as that, the NRASTC Light award is only suitable for those whose facility has qualified Lifeguards or First Aiders available to respond quickly to a swimming teacher or coach in an emergency.

- Assessment date - Wednesday 3rd April (12.45pm - 3.00pm)
