Sports at Eclipse Leisure Centre
From booking a court with friends or learning a sport for the first time our centre has something that’s right for you. We work hard with the National Governing Bodies of a number of sports to fill our facilities with ideas that are fun and engaging.
Most of our sports are available to book online.
To do this you'll either need to be a member, or sign up for a free Places Membership.
Badminton
Badminton is an easy sport to learn and can be a very social game. The speed of the shuttlecock also makes this one of the quickest of the racket sports. It can be played at any pace making it enjoyable for all ages.
We offer a variety of badminton sessions including, regular Badmintons sessions, Forever Active (FA) Badminton and our No Strings sessions that are suitable for all ages. Simply turn up, pay and play.

Our Junior Badminton course is also available to book onto if you are looking for a weekly course to kickstart your Badminton journey!
Climbing
Our Clip n Climb area is available for use for beginners and climbing veterans, and is also suitable for school groups and birthday parties.
Football
At Eclipse Leisure Centre, we offer four rooftop football pitches that can be hired out on both a one-off or regular basis. Book your pitch through the timetable below or try out one of our sessions and courses.

We also offer a range of activities and clubs for our older adult members and visitors at Eclipse Leisure Centre.

Forever Active sessions
We run Forever Active sessions on Mondays and Fridays for older adults so that you can socialise, look after your health, and maybe even take up a new sport! Take a look at some of our sessions below, and book through the timetable.

Other sports
We offer a wide range of other sports and activities at our centre, including squash, with courts and pitches available to hire by both members and non-members; bookings can be made via our timetable.
