We're dedicated to helping our members stay active in whatever way suits them. That's why we've developed a comprehensive plan to ensure we can provide you with the support you need.
We offer a range of memberships to suit you, depending on your needs, from Swim Only deals to our all-encompassing Premium Plus membership.
Alternatively, we also welcome day visitors - find out how to create your free Places membership and claim your day pass.
We welcome day visitors to our gym and fitness facilities, with day passes available. To purchase your day pass, you will first need to create a free Places membership. You can then book onto the sessions as you wish.

Our gym is open from 6.30am - 9.30pm Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Saturdays and Sundays.
Gym support
To familiarise you with the gym and to get to know your goals we'd like to offer you a short group introduction to the gym. This can be booked with a member of the team when you join or at a later date via our website.
One-to-one support sessions can be booked with a member of the gym team. The sessions last 45 minutes and are chargeable.
You are also welcome to book one free 15 minute programme review a month, just speak to a member of our team.
Our gyms are not always manned, but rest assured support is never far away. Our equipment is labelled with QR codes, which when scanned, provide you a video tutorial. Also look out for our latest workout boards in the gym, with a scannable code showcasing the latest workout to try.

Gym etiquette
We want everyone's time in our gym to be as comfortable as possible, so we ask all visitors to remember the below when using the facilities.
- Please help us keep the gym clean by wiping down equipment after use
- Wear appropriate footwear for the activity you're doing
- Lifting barefoot or in socks is permitted on lifting platforms only
- Make use of our lockers for bags
- Our gym's aren't always manned, so if you require assistance or support when there are no team members on the gym floor, please visit our friendly reception team
- In case of emergency, push the assistance alarm
- A gym induction must be completed before using the gym
- 1 adult (18 years+) can attend with up to four Junior members and is responsible for the Junior member's conduct
- You must follow all exercise programme advice given by our Fitness team
- During busy times, please be mindful of the length of time you spend on each piece of equipment to allow other gym users to complete their workout
By following the guidance above, we hope all visitors can enjoy their visits to the gym.

Studio classes
Offering a range of intensities from gentle and relaxing to a more intensive workout, you’ll be able to find a class that suits you.
Group cycling
Ride like the wind with our group cycling classes. You’ll feel like you’ve had a workout with one of these sessions.
Pool classes
Classes range from gentle to high impact so you can work hard and enjoy the support of the pool improving strength and fitness.

Personal training

Junior fitness
We believe a physically active child is much more likely to become a physically active adult. We run the following supervised sessions for children aged 11-15 years to attend:
- Monday - Friday 3:30pm - 4:30pm & 4.30pm - 5.30pm
- Saturday and Sunday 9.00am - 10.00am & 2.30pm - 3.30pm
All junior gym users must complete a group introduction before using the gym independently. These sessions last 30 minutes and can be booked with a member of our team when joining.
Once a junior member has completed their introduction and received programme advice they can attend outside the above supervised sessions with a parent/guardian or appropriate adult (18+) on a ratio of a maximum four juniors per adult.
Wellness programmes
At Court Garden Leisure Complex we're dedicated to supporting recovery, rehabilitation and your overall health and wellbeing. That's why we offer several wellness programmes to provide help to those in our community that need it.
Wellness programmes
Our programmes support recovery, rehabilitation and your overall health and wellbeing. You do not need to be referred by a medical professional to attend any of our wellness programmes. Refer yourself. Our team are here to help and support you on your wellbeing journey.
GP referral and self referral
If you have suffered an illness or recently had an operation our referral sessions will help you get back into regular activity and/or fitness. Our instructors will support you through your sessions and your first consultation appointment is free.

Cardiac rehab
We offer supported and supervised Gym Sessions and Group Classes, which include specialist Cardiac Rehabilitation. Our qualified instructors will offer expert advice and support you at every step of your journey to recovery.
Long COVID recovery
We are one of dozens of Places Leisure venues currently offering a Long COVID Recovery Programme. Delivered by certified coaches, we will support you by offering safe and effective advice, exercise guidance and lifestyle hints to help break the cycle of Long COVID symptoms. Our programme comes at no extra cost to Premium members.
Falls prevention and seat exercise classes
If you have suffered from falls or are susceptible to balance problems and muscle weakness, vision loss, a long-term health condition, such as heart disease, dementia or low blood pressure (hypotension), or just need to benefit from regular low impact exercise and activity. Our Falls Prevention / Seated Exercise Class is the right class for you.
Regular exercise can help improve balance, strength, and flexibility, which can reduce the risk of falls.
