Useful centre information

Useful information to help your visit be stress-free and seamless.

We look forward to welcoming you to Alfreton Leisure Centre. Our general opening times are below, however please also check our timetables for individual activity times via the Places Leisure app or our centre page here.

Parking:

There is free parking available on-site, you will need to collect a ticket or permit from reception to ensure you're not charged.

Arriving at the centre:

• During our peak times (which could include school holidays, evenings and weekends), we recommend that you arrive in plenty of time for your activity. 
• Please use our fast-track check-in points located in reception for the following activities:
  • Gym sessions
  • Group exercise classes
  • Lane Swimming 
  • Just swim
• For all other activities or sessions please check-in at reception. This includes Family Fun ticketed sessions, you will need to show proof of a receipt when arriving to swim. 

Lockers:

• Our wet side lockers have coin operated lockers that take pound coins. These are refundable.

Cafe:

Refuel and rehydrate in our Cafe at Alfreton Leisure Centre, serving freshly ground bean-to-cup coffees, a variety of sandwiches, pastries and paninis or indulge yourself with a variety of handmade muffins, oatbars and cakes.
