We're supporting Day of Play

4th-10th August 2025

How are we getting involved?

Play isn’t just about having fun; it’s a fundamental part of our lives for children and adults alike. Starting in childhood, it’s a crucial component of healthy development. It helps to build physical strength, mental resilience, creativity, confidence and essential social skills. That’s why Places Leisure is dedicating a week to play, with activities happening all over the country, encouraging communities of all ages to take part.

Many of our centres are offering free trials and discounted activities between the 4th-10th August 2025, like children’s courses (including gymnastics and trampolining), casual sports like pickleball, and classes such as group cycling.
