Places Leisure Camberley named top SWIMTAG swimming pool in the UK
Places Leisure Camberley has been named the top SWIMTAG swimming pool in the country after 245 swimmers swam a total distance of 1,676.02 km over 33 days and 22 hours.
The achievement was announced in March 2023 and makes Places Leisure Camberley the top performing swimming pool in the UK out of 137 sites. The 245 swimmers burned an estimated 540,668kcal in the process, highlighting the impressive fitness benefits of swimming.
SWIMTAG, a popular wearable fitness technology, is designed to help swimmers track their progress and compete with others. Places Leisure has been a pioneer in integrating SWIMTAG into its swimming programs, enabling swimmers to set and achieve fitness goals in a fun and engaging way.
