Sports at Rotherham Leisure Complex
From booking a court with friends or learning a sport for the first time our centre has something that’s right for you. We work hard with the National Governing Bodies of a number of sports to fill our facilities with ideas that are fun and engaging.
Most of our sports are available to book online.
To do this you'll either need to be a member, or sign up for a free Places Membership.
Badminton
Book a court today, join in our social badminton sessions or sign up to a course to learn how to play and develop your technique.
Racket hire costs £1 per racket (non-refundable).

Squash
We have various squash courts available to book, with slots available every day of the week.
Each session costs £8.00 per court and is bookable via our timetable.
Shotokan Karate
Unlock your karate journey every Sunday!
- Beginners 10.30am - 11.15am - 4 week beginner course
- All coloured belts 10.30am - 11.25am

Pickleball
Pickleball is a new exciting sport which combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis. It is a fun and competitive way to exercise, suitable for all levels of ability.

Social sessions
These social sessions are a great opportunity to learn the rules of the sport and have a friendly game with new competitors!
- Tuesdays from 7.00pm - 9.00pm
- Sundays from 3.00pm - 5.00pm
- Suitable for adults and juniors, but under 8's will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian
- Adults: £5.10
- Juniors, Seniors and Rothercard holders: £3.80
- Max capacity of 20 people
- Equipment is provided
These sessions will then run weekly on the days and times above, so come along and play! Book via the timetable to secure your space, or turn up and play if the session has not reached capacity.

Alternatively, gather your friends and family and hire out our Pickleball courts for a game - we have lots of slots to choose from!

Karate Zone
Every Sunday we welcome the team at Karate Zone to Rotherham Leisure Complex.
Sessions run between 4.00pm and 5.30pm.
