Swimmer of the year 2022
After a challenging 2022 we wanted to round the year off with some good news stories. We asked all of our Swimming Teachers to nominate those distinctive, very special swimmers who deserved a bit of recognition.
They were asked to identify swimmers on our lesson programmes (children and adults) who have displayed positive attitudes, unyielding determination or, have put in efforts over and above their peers. They may have overcome personal adversity or achieved something unexpected or challenging.

Luke has special needs but this does not stop him, he has been swimming with us since 2015 and has worked up the stages to Stage 6 starting from Stage 2.
Luke has also started in our Rookie lessons learning about water safety and what our lifeguards do in their job role. He also helps them set up for our swimming lessons i.e. taking out our dolphin pool rope.
Luke comes every week and gives 100% effort and concentration. His resilience and his self motivation shows in all our reclusive lessons.
