Sports at Redwell Leisure Centre

From booking a court with friends or learning a sport for the first time our centre has something that’s right for you. We work hard with the National Governing Bodies of a number of sports to fill our facilities with ideas that are fun and engaging.

Most of our sports are available to book online.

To do this you'll either need to be a member, or sign up for a free Places Membership.

Badminton

Badminton is an easy sport to learn and can be a very social game. The speed of the shuttlecock also makes this one of the quickest of the racket sports. It can be played at any pace making it enjoyable for all ages.

We have a number of courts available to hire every day. Simply book via our timetable below.

Squash

Our squash is available to hire daily with slots available every afternoon and evening.

Each session costs £10.90 per court and is bookable via our timetable.

Football

At Redwell Leisure Centre, we hire of a 5-a-side football pitch every day.

Pitch hire costs £46.95 for an hour session and is bookable via our timetable.

Walking netball

Walking Netball is a slower paced, low impact format of the game ideal for all ages and abilities, and is the perfect way to remain involved with the game and meet new people, all whilst staying active.

Our Walking Netball sessions are designed to be fun and flexible, and largely follow the same formats as any other netball session, including a warm-up, mini-games and drills followed by a friendly game!

Our sessions run every Wednesday between 1.45pm and 2.45pm, costing £3.35.

Pickleball

Pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis to create a fun game that is easy to play. Pickleball has seen a recent uptake in popularity and it can be played individually or in pairs.

Racket and ball hire available. Sessions are 45 minutes long.

Prices from £10.90 for adults and £5.70 for concessions.
