Sports at Ponteland Leisure Centre
From booking a court with friends or learning a sport for the first time our centre has something that’s right for you. We work hard with the National Governing Bodies of a number of sports to fill our facilities with ideas that are fun and engaging.
Most of our sports are available to book online.
Badminton
With our huge sports hall, Ponteland Leisure Centre is fantastic to hire a court for a badminton match or two.
We offer court slots throughout the week, lasting for one hour.
No Strings Badminton sessions are our popular social gatherings for likeminded badminton enthusiasts, with sessions on Tuesdays at 1.30pm and Thursdays at 5.00pm.
Football
Whether you're organising a regular kick-about with your mates, or something more competitive, our sports hall can be booked out for 5-a-side football.
Pitches can be booked online seven days a week.
Tennis
Get fit and feel ace in our new outdoor casual tennis sessions!
Tennis offers a wide range of physical, mental, and social benefits, including improved focus and concentration, increased agility and the chance to meet likeminded players
Court hire information:
- Monday - Friday, 5.00pm to 8.00pm
- Saturday - Sunday, 9.00am - 5.00pm
