Swimming lessons

Our team follows the Swim England Learn to Swim Framework to deliver swimming lessons. We use fun and games to build water confidence from the first splash to a lifetime of loving swimming and being safe in the water.

Whether you are looking for lessons for children, adult swimming lessons or private swim tuition, we've got the course for you.

Aqua classes

Looking for a workout class in the water? We run two different classes at Ashington Leisure Centre.

Aqua Fit - This low-impact class is perfect for weight-loss, toning your body and improving general fitness

Hydro Fighter - This class really packs a punch! Get ready for a high energy session in our pool twice a week.

We have two pools to enjoy at Ashington Leisure Centre - our Main Pool and Teaching Pool.

Teaching Pool

Used for swimming lessons and our younger swimmers. 

Remember, you will need to bring appropriate swimwear, a towel and £1 for your locker.

Ashington Swimming Club

We regularly welcome Ashington Swimming Club to use our facilities. The club are always on the look out for new members.
