Important Information - Summer 2022

Swim at the largest outdoor lido in the UK this summer

Walk in bookings available, although we advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

  • Places Leisure Swim Membership: FREE
  • Places Leisure Premium Multi Site Membership: FREE
  • South London Swimming Club Membership: FREE

T’s & C’s - All bookings for activities NOT included in your Membership must be paid for at the time of booking. The booking is non-refundable in the event you cancel your booking, or you fail to show up for your activity.

Please note that Places memberships are only valid to use at the lido during the public season (until 30th September).

Opening hours*

Main pool

  • Available from May 2nd - August 31st 
  • 7am - 2pm in April 
  • 6am - 8pm until 31 August
  • 6am - 5pm (or dawn, whichever is later) September onwards

Paddling Pool

  • Available from May 2nd - August 31st 

*All opening hours are weather permitting and subject to change.

 

Important Information

Children under 8 MUST be supervised in the water and throughout the facilities by a parent or adult (16+).

Student Concession price only applies with valid ID.

Pools are not heated

Bicycle stands available by reception. Please bring your own lock. Bicycles are left at your own risk

In the event of thunder or lightning, the pool will be cleared for 30 minutes following each thunder clap or lightning flash.

Lockers for small valuables are available. Please bring your own padlock

Bag checks in place. Please no sharps, breakables or alcohol.

Disabled access at Tooting Bec Lido
  • A disabled toilet and shower
  • A hoist which enables people with disabilities to get in and out of the pool with the assistance of the lifeguards
  • Disabled car parking spaces but it should be noted that the path from the car park to the Lido entrance (approx 100 yards) is rather uneven due to tree roots.
