Sports at Tolworth Recreation Centre
From booking a court with friends or learning a sport for the first time our centre has something that’s right for you. We work hard with the National Governing Bodies of a number of sports to fill our facilities with ideas that are fun and engaging.
Most of our sports are available to book online.
To do this you'll either need to be a member, or sign up for a free Places Membership.
Football
We have 2 floodlit 3G pitches available for hire every day at Tolworth Recreation Centre, with free parking on site. Simply book via the timetable below, turn up, and play!
Squash
Our squash courts are available to book throughout the week.

Badminton Coaching Programme
Join us for our free junior and adult taster sessions, run by Flying Shuttles on the 18th May to learn the basics of badminton and try out a new sport.
Junior sessions (1 hour)
These session uses the Badminton England racket pack programme to introduce the basics of badminton.
For beginners aged 7+
Adult sessions (1 hour)
These session that introduces the technical and tactical aspects of playing badminton.

Whole court hire
- Member price - £16.35 per hour in peak hours, free in off peak
- Non-member price - £22.80 per hour at all times
Racket hire is available from reception, at £2.60 per racket.

Table Tennis
At Tolworth Recreation Centre, we offer table tennis as an additional sporting activity, with courts available to hire throughout the week.

Amir Wrestling
Run by Amir Kamali, a professional ex Iranian wrestling champ with over 13 years of world class experience in wrestling. Amir has experience in teaching private clients compete in wrestling and is now sharing his expertese with classes for men and women.
Wrestling focuses on dominating your opponent by using different techniques and strength. In every session you will learn new techniques that focus on strength and conditioning your body for wrestling.
Amir's classes are for adults of all levels and abilities, with children's classes coming soon.
