We are currently assessing different options and will work closely with our members to provide them with options including transferring their membership to Hinckley Leisure Centre. As more information becomes available, we will be in contact with all members. Members will be able to use the gym as normal up until the 6th of December. We would like to thank our members for their loyal support over the years.

Are you closing Places Gym Hinckley to help fund the refurbishment/investment work at Hinckley Leisure Centre?
No, the planned investment work to Hinckley Leisure Centre is separate to our decision to close Places Gym Hinckley. Places Gym Hinckley is not tied to an agreement with Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council, it is fully operated by Places Leisure. The gym operates under a different business model compared to our other facilities across the nation which no longer aligns with our business strategy.
We are working closely with Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council to confirm a major investment works for Hinckley Leisure Centre and we will share more information about this when possible.
What if another gym/competitor moves into the Places Gym Hinckley Space?
There is a possibility that a competitor may move into the space, Places Leisure has taken this into consideration when making the decision to close Places Gym Hinckley.
