A bit about the gym

The gym is a place where you can spend as much or as little time as you wish and get a great workout.  Our gyms contain a range of equipment versatile enough to accommodate people of all abilities, ambitions, shapes and sizes. 

Is the gym the place for you?

Using the gym will put you on the right path to losing weight and body fat, building muscle and toning up, strengthening your core, increasing stamina, and improving your cardiovascular fitness and wellbeing.  Whatever goal you have our instructors and personal trainers are ready and waiting to meet you and help you on your fitness journey.  If you want to get results faster then Personal Training could be for you.

Let's get you started?

We are open 363 days a year, only closing on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. 

Our opening hours are

Monday - Thursday: 6.30am - 10.30pm

Friday: 6.30am - 9.30pm

Weekends: 7.00am - 8.00pm

Bank Holiday's: 8.00am - 7.00pm

Junior Gym

We believe a physically active child is much more likely to become a physically active adult. 

We run the following supervised sessions for children aged 11-15 years to attend. A gym introduction must be completed as part of the first visit:

  • Monday - Friday 3.30pm - 4.30pm and 4.30pm - 5.30pm 
  • Saturday 11.30am - 12.30pm

During the holidays sessions take place on the following days:

  • Monday - Friday from 3.30pm - 4.30pm and 4.30pm - 5.30pm
  • Saturday 11.30am - 12.30pm

Gym and Places Locker

Places Locker is our app for all things active.  It's perfect for tracking not just your activity but your body measurements too. You can build a new workout programme to enjoy in the gym or at home, whatever place you're into.
