Activities for the whole family!
Family Paddlers
Join us every Saturday afternoon, rain or shine. Suitable for families who want to spend time together and experiencing a paddle sport activity, which will be canoeing or kayaking. The paddling is only part of the experience; enjoy your waterside journey and wildlife watching.
Price is per person, please book 1 space for every family member.
Our instructors understand the importance of sharing quality time with each other as a family. No previous experience is needed. The emphasis is entirely on fun and taking part. For ages 6 years upwards. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Each family member will need a completed consent form and a full change of clothes and shoes.
Saturday club (8-11 years old)
Saturday Club (yay!) is for kids aged 8-11 who love being outdoors, learning to explore and having adventures!
It's non stop from archery skills to fire making and of course the mighty Thames. Come and join the fun and learn new skills in the great outdoors! Please bring a full change of clothes, spare shoes and complete our consent form.
Youth Adventure Club (11 - 16 years old)
Albany Outdoors' famous Youth Adventure Club, fun and informal water sports club. Meet at the Albany Outdoors from 6pm–8pm. Entry is open to all young people aged 11–16 years.
We run a variety of land and water based activities such as: kayaking, canoeing, sailing, archery, camp craft skills, first aid and stand up paddleboarding.
Please note due to weather this may be more land based than water where appropriate, especially in the colder months. If it is your first time attending please arrive 10 minutes early and bring a completed consent form with you as well as a full change of clothes and shoes (no flip flops).
Every Wednesday from 6.00pm - 8.00pm (15th October last session)
Otters (8 - 11 years old)
An exciting club for young people aged 8-11yrs to begin their adventure on and around the river! Try a range of different activities both on and off the water. This club is for young people to enjoy the outdoors and their local environment. Learn about the wildlife, how rivers work and paddling skills whilst making new friends! No experience required. Please bring a completed consent form and full change of clothes and spare shoes.
After School Club (8 - 12 years old)
An introductory 6 week paddling course for ages 8 to 12 years is for those with little or no previous experience in canoeing/ kayaking. Try a range of different paddlesports and learn new skills. It is also a great way to meet new friends and have fun. Please bring a completed consent form and full change of clothes and spare shoes.
SEND Activities
Our SEND sessions are specially designed to give children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities the chance to enjoy the water in a safe, supportive environment. Whether it’s kayaking, canoeing, or simply building confidence on the river, our experienced instructors are here to make sure every participant feels comfortable, included, and has fun. Families are welcome, and sessions are paced to suit individual needs.

Aiming High Water Sports Project
This is a subsidised service that provides water sports activities for disabled young people aged between 11 – 18 years in the Kingston + Richmond boroughs. The water sports project gives disabled young people new experiences and challenges. Our coaches focus on team building, communication and developing water-based skills and safety on the water.

SEND - Albany Cygnets Paddlesport Club (11-16yrs)
Albany Cygnets is for young people with additional needs aged between 11 – 16 years to get out and enjoy nature on the River Thames. We aim to give the young people new experiences and challenges. Our coaches focus on team building, communication and developing water-based skills and safety on the water.
