  • Adult and Baby
    3-18 months

    Nurture a love of water with your baby from the very beginning in a positive, fun environment. Parents or carers attend with their babies and join them in the water providing reassurance and confidence.

    18 months - 3 years

    Give toddlers confidence in the water from the word go while learning core skills through fun and games. Parents or carers join their toddler in the water providing support and encouragement.

  • Preschool Ducklings
    3-4 years

    Aimed at children who are old enough to follow instructions and can move on their own. Children learn to float, rollover, blow bubbles, swim, enter and exit the pool safely.

  • Children's Swimming Lessons

    Our swimming lesson programme for school aged children 4 years + follows Swim England’s Learn to Swim Framework Stages 1 – 7. It’s all about developing confidence and competence through fun and enjoyment. *4 year olds must be in full time education to attend these lessons. If your child is not in full time education please do not select these classes.

  • Adult Beginner
    18+ yrs

    Our Adult Beginner course will guide you through your first experiences in the water. You’ll work on basic swimming skills and techniques, gaining confidence whilst moving in water.

  • Adult Beginner Water Confidence
    18+ yrs

    This course is all about gaining the confidence to enter the pool safely. You will learn how to move around the pool with confidence and to achieve basic core aquatic skills.  Ideal for people with a fear of the water or those nervous about taking their first steps.

  • Private Swimming Lessons

    Designed for students who choose to learn in one-to-one or a small group ratio. Dedicated instruction allows students to perfect skills, boost confidence and move at the student’s own pace in a relaxed environment.

  • Intensive Holiday Lessons

    Designed to cover several weeks of normal term time lessons in a shortened timeframe, our intensive courses can help students to get a taster for lessons if they are beginners, boost confidence, or move past any hurdles by practicing skills.

  • Stages 8-10 advanced swimming

    After completing the learn to swim programme, these classes will teach children about swimming for fitness. Take part in drills and sets to develop stamina and distance, learn how to complete turns for each competitive stroke. Children must have completed Stage 7 or equivalent of our learn to swim programme and be confident in deep water to attend these sessions.  Please enquire for details.

  • Rookie Lifeguards

    RLSS UK’s Rookie Lifeguard programme is taught using colourful materials, and fun, varied lifesaving and rescue activities to give children the skills they need to be confident in the pool or the sea and enjoy water safely.  Children must have completed Stage 7 or equivalent of our learn to swim programme and be confident in deep water to attend these sessions.  Please enquire for details.

  • National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)

    The nationally recognised qualification for pool lifeguarding. This course covers swimming pool supervision, rescue and emergency action plans, first aid, resuscitation and use of AED. Candidates should be 16+ and able to swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds, swim 100 metres continuously in deep water, tread water for 30 seconds and dive to the bottom of the pool.
