Funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and offer our most heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family at this time of sorrow. 

On behalf of Wandsworth Council some council sports facilities will remain open with some variation to normal bank holiday opening hours.

The following of our centres will be open, please check for shorter opening hours.

Please be aware that there will be no swimming lessons at any of the below.

Putney Leisure Centre - Open from 9.00am – 5.00pm

Latchmere Leisure Centre - Open from 9.00am – 5.00pm

Tooting Bec Lido - Normal opening hours

If you have prebooked or paid for an activity or a lesson at a closed centre or outside of the revised opening hours, here’s all you need to know:

What happens if my child/children, or I, have swimming lessons, gymnastics or other courses on a Monday?

All lessons are cancelled on this day, across all of our centres and we will refund the value of the lesson by adjusting your next Direct Debit payment.

I’ve prebooked an activity on September 19^th for a centre that is closed or that takes place outside of the revised hours?

Don’t worry, if the session is free, we will take care of this and cancel your activity, you don’t need to do anything.  No £2.50 late charges will be applied.

If you paid for the session, we will cancel this for you, and the refund will be returned to the card you paid on within 14 days.  Please see exceptions below.

I’ve booked a court/hall for a team activity, children’s party or have a regular block booking at a closed centre or outside of revised hours?

Our team on site will be in touch shortly to discuss a change of date or a refund.

I’m a member at one of the closed centres, and wish to attend one that is open?

You are welcome, please turn up within the opening hours.

If you are a PAYG Places Member please book and pay in advance.

When will our centres open again?

We will reopen all centres at the normal time on Tuesday 20th September.
