Some questions and answers about our Clip n' Climb
Q: When is Clip n’ Climb open?
A: We are open all year around. Click here to see our open climb sessions.
Q: Am I allowed in the climbing arena if I’m not climbing?
A: Yes you are allowed into the climbing arena as long as you watch the briefing video. We advice if you would like to go into the arena to book yourself onto the session as well, as feel its fair to let the kids have all the fun!
Q: Are there any special attractions included?
A : Yes, we have the stairway to heaven and the leap of faith in our climbing arena which is included in the session. We open the stairway to heaven up for the first part of the session and then the leap of faith for the second part.
Q: Are there any age or weight restrictions?
A : The minimum age is 4 with no maximum age and the maximum weight is 22 stone.
Q: Do you have any Adults only sessions?
A: We run a Adults only session on a Wednesday evening at 7.00pm, term time only.
Q: Are there any teens sessions?
A: We run a teen’s only session for 13-15 year olds on a Friday evening at 7.00pm term time only.
Q: Do I need to bring anything with me?
A: All you will need to bring is yourself. Closed shoes (trainers) and a hair band if you have long hair and we provide the rest.
Q: When should I arrive for my session?
A: Please arrive a few minuets before hand to allow yourself enough time to check into reception and fill out a participation form. Due to tight scheduling late arrivals must be aware this could affect the amount of time spent in the climbing arena.
Q: Do I have to attend the safety briefing even if I have been to Clip n’ Climb before?
A: Yes, all climbers must attend the safety briefing every time you visit Clip n’ Climb even if you have been before.
Q: Where can I leave my belongings at site?
A: Climbers can store their personal items in our lockers near the briefing room (Please bring £1 for lockers).
Q: I have children of different ages, can they climb together?
A: Yes. One of the best things about Clip n’ Climb is that it is one of the few activities where groups or families of mixed ages can climb together at the same time.
Q: Can my children climb alone or do I need to join them?
A: Children aged 4 – 7 years must have an adult present in the climbing arena (climbing or non climbing). Ratio: 1 adult for up to 2 children. Children over 8 years and above can climb without supervision.
Q: Is there some were I can buy food and drinks?
A: Yes we have a café situated right by the clip n climb arena where you can buy food, hot and cold drinks.
Q: Can I book an exclusive session or birthday party?
A: Absolutely. Clip n’ climb is the perfect activity for birthdays or groups. Our birthday package is £197.00 for a party of up to 20 people and we also have a party room available for additional hire. Call us on 01403 211311 to discuss your requirements.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Our cancellation for open climb sessions allows customers to cancel (or change) their booking up to 24 hours before the session start time. If you need to cancel or rebook your session please contact us on 01403 211311. Clip n’ Climb will either refund your original payment or issue a climb voucher to the same value.
Anyone arriving late or not attending a briefing will not be able to climb.
For groups, parties and schools, our cancellation policy allows customers to cancel or amend their booking up to 7 days before the session start time.
