Q: When is Clip 'n Climb open?
A: We are open all year around. Click here to see our sessions times.

Q: Am I allowed in the climbing arena if I’m not climbing?
A: Spectators are welcome in the arena but must watch the briefing video at the start of the session.

Q: How long does a session last?
A: Each session lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes.  There is a 15 minute safety briefing and time for harnassing followed by and hour climbing time.

Q: Are there any age or weight restrictions?
A : The minimum age is 5 with no maximum age and the maximum weight is 22 stone (150kg).

Q: What should I wear?
A: Most importantly climbers should wear closed shoes (trainers) and a hair band if you have long hair. Climbers should wear comfortable, appropriate clothing for climbing, so no skirts or dresses to be worn. All climbers must follow the clothing regulations, which include removing inappropriate jewellery, ‘securing’ any glasses, taking off hoodies, and tying back long hair. Lockers are provided on site for valuables to be stored. If you attend with incorrect clothing/Jewellery unfortunately you will not be able to climb.

Q: When should I arrive for my session?
A: Please arrive 10 minutes before your session . You may be asked to wait to allow for the safe set up of programmes or exit of classes before yours. On arriving, please make your way to the Clip n Climb meeting point. Our Placemakers will be available to point you in the right direction and bring you the consent form to fill in. Please ensure you follow social distancing guidelines at all times when in our facilities.

Q: Do I need to bring anything else with me?
A: All you will need to bring is yourself. We provide harnesses with a special belay key device; climbers cannot use their own personal harnesses. We do not allow climbers to use chalk however you are welcome to bring climbing shoes with you.

Q: When should I arrive for my session?
A: Please arrive 15 minutes before your session to allow plenty of time to complete the participation statement. Upon arrival, please make your way to the Clip n' Climb arena. Our Placemakers will be available to point you in the right direction.
