Learn to swim

Achieving my next badge

Learning to swim is an essential life skill.

If you can swim you can enjoy all the exciting activities that the water can offer.  We run lessons for all ages and all our lessons are taught by qualified teachers.  We work to the nationally recognised Swim England Learn to Swim Pathway in our sessions.

Our current lesson options:

Duckling lessons

Babies and toddlers aged between 0-5 years old will build the foundation for a lifelong love of water.  Under 3s will need a parent or adult carer in the water with them.

Swimming Lessons for School Age Children

Once they start school, your child will work through seven stages of fun and exciting lessons developing all the skills needed for children to be competent, confident and safe in the water.

Aquatic Skills Lessons

When your child has completed stage 7 of the Learn to Swim Pathway they will have the opportunity to continue to develop their skills in a variety of aquatic classes such as Competitive Swimming, Fun & Fitness, Rookie Lifesaving, Synchronised Swimming and Water Polo.  (Please note, activities vary between sites).

Adult Swimming Lessons

Adult lessons are available for all abilities whether you have a fear of the water, haven’t been swimming since school or if you want to refine your technique ready for an event.

A member of our team will be happy to advise you about which lesson would suit you or your children.
