On Wednesday 26th September 2018, we will be holding an Open Day so everyone can get active to support ukactive’s National Fitness Day. We want to encourage the nation to celebrate the fun of fitness and physical activity by providing venues, challenges and free activities.

Free activities and MOVEs challenges
- From classes all day!
- Free Swimming
- Cycle for charity in reception.
- While you're getting active, you're earning MOVEs, a measure of your daily physical activity. To be active you should aim for 750 moves per day. On National Fitness Day, we want people to earn their 750 MOVEs and help us hit a national target of 1 million MOVEs! So, in addition to the MOVEs earned at the free activities, many centres also have MOVEs challenges for you to take part in like cycling, rowing and running.

We are delighted to also be raising money for our official charity partner HEARTUK – the Cholesterol Charity on National Fitness Day, as we recognise the vital link between activity and keeping cholesterol levels in check.
So we are inviting people at our centres to use National Fitness Day as an opportunity to help their hearts through activity, and help others' hearts by donating to HEART UK. This can be done by texting 'MOVE26' and the preferred donation amount (£1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10) to 70070, e.g. 'MOVE26' £5
