Fitness/ Operation's Manager 

What your role will be

We are recruiting for a Fitness and Operations Manager to be responsible for the fitness team and ensure efficient day to day operations of the centre. The fitness team are responsible for ensuring all individual & thus team Personal Training/Small Group Training and Programming targets are achieved. The Fitness and Operations Manager will work with the management team and provide KPI and financial budgetary information, achieve KPI’s and produce monthly programmes, challenges and competitions.

You will be expected to chair meetings with the General Manager and monitor staff performance through regular meetings and appraisals.


Your background

You will have developed a career within the fitness industry (or military physical training) and within in a managerial role. You will be as comfortable delivering fitness training as you are planning long term strategies to promote and develop a busy fitness function. An NVQ level 3 in fitness (or equivalent) is essential.

The ideal candidate will have a First Aid qualification, however full training will be given. For this position you will have strong leadership and motivational skills as well as experience within a similar position.

We have recently successfully been awarded a 15 year contract for the management of Wokingham Borough Councils Leisure Facilities. Sales Adviser - 20 hours  

Take your marks, set, go!!  Is the idea of a new challenge what drives you from your bed each morning? Could you inspire/work with a team?

This is a 20 hour role which will include evenings and weekends.
